So it is your wedding day and everything is going smoothly except for a few things. There is nothing that can happen on your wedding day that you should freak out over except of course the groom not showing up. Everything will seem like it is a catastrophe but honestly you should sit back relax and not let anything upset you. This article will prepare you for some of the common things that will happen but you should not sweat over them.
You Get A Snag In Your Wedding Dress
Almost everyone who has worn a wedding dress will tell you that they have snagged their dress on something. It is not an uncommon thing to do. You should remember that even though your perfect dress may have a snag in it the snag can probably be fixed and no one will even notice it.
It’s Not The Perfect Cake
It can be very frustrating when the cake gets there and it is not the perfect cake that you thought it was going to be. It could be because some one stuck their finger in it or that the decorator messed up on one side of it. Do not fret. Most people are probably not even looking that closely at the cake anyway.
You Are Nervous
Being nervous on your wedding day is something that should be expected. Almost everyone who has ever gotten married will tell you that they were nervous. If you feel the nervous jitters coming on you should stop and remember why you are getting married or do something that will calm your nerves. After a couple of deep breaths you should feel better and be able to move on.
Chipping A Nail
Chipping a nail is not the end of the world, as it might seem at that moment. It might be aggravating but you should not freak out because of it. There are worse things that can happen and you can always fix the nail yourself.
The Poor Luck Of Rain On Your Wedding Day
If it happens to rain on your wedding day there is no reason to get all upset over it and freak out even if your wedding is outside. You should have a back up plan in the event of rain and just in case it is too wet to hold the wet at your outside location. If you stop and think about it you will realize that rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck!
Not All Of Your Guests Showed Up
Not having all of your guest show up is nothing to get into a panic about. If you have a seating arrangement this can be easily changed so there will not be anyone sitting by themselves at a large table. This is a job that can be delegated to someone who you trust can handle the situation.
Getting A Blister On Your Foot
Many brides will be wearing shoes that are brand new and often not very comfortable. In these cases a blister is almost always going to happen. If you feel like you have a blister coming on you should slap a band-aid on it and move on. When you can you should leave your shoes off and be comfortable. I have even heard of brides wearing flip-flops to the wedding and the wedding reception.
Your wedding day is a day that you are never supposed to forget. Therefore you should not be freaking out of the little tiny things that are bound to happen during the day. This is your special day and you should enjoy every aspect of it.
